Tucks to celebrate 50th

 Lee and Christine (Andrews) Tuck of Topeka will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 24. They were married on Saturday, July 24, 1976, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Valley Falls.

They were high school sweethearts and both 1975 graduates from Royal Valley High School in Hoyt. They spent the first 36 years of their marriage in rural Jackson County where Lee farmed and worked concrete construction.

In 1993, Lee started his own concrete construction business (ATM Concrete), which is located in Meriden, and continues to work full-time.

Chris is a registered pediatric nurse, with the last 26 years of her career working as a director of health services and school nurse for Seaman USD #345 in Topeka, where she retired from in 2017.  

Lee and Chris are the proud parents of four children, Kristopher and Jill (Long) Tuck (Meriden); Alicia and Christopher Padilla (Topeka); Mollee and Jeff Wilkerson (Topeka); and Adam and Jennifer (Powell) Tuck (Topeka).  

They currently reside in Topeka where their greatest joy and proudest moments have been spent with their children and 14 grandchildren, Aysia Christine Padilla, Maecy Marie Tuck, Emmy Mae Goldberg, Olivia Ann Tuck, Jaxon Christopher Padilla, Halle Jo Tuck, Aidan Charles Tuck, Rylee JoAnn McKinley, Averi Grace Tuck, Maxwell Jordan Tuck, Tucker Mack Wilkerson, Anella Marie Tuck, Ava Rae Wilkerson and Knox Adam Wilkerson. 

The Tucks will celebrate their anniversary with their children and grandchildren on Saturday, July 25. Cards may be sent to them at 4426 N.W. Halfday Lane, Topeka, KS 66618.
