Parks-Helus

Meredith Parks and Corey Helus, both of Olathe, are happy to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lorne and Dana Parks of Olathe. Her grandparents are Don and Barbara Sass, the late Patricia Parks and the late Donald McCully.

The future groom is the son of Kevin and Deborah Helus. His grandparents are LaVeta Bengtson, the late Marvin Bengtson, Wini Helus and the late Paul Helus.

Meredith received a bachelor of science degree from Oklahoma State University and is pursuing a secondary social studies teacher certification and a master’s degree in education from Avila University.

Corey graduated from Holton High School in 2010. He received a bachelor of science degree from The University of Kansas and a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University. He is the assistant product manager at Insight 2 Design.

The couple is planning a Dec. 8 wedding at Studio Dan Meiners in Kansas City.
