McKees to celebrate golden anniversary

Charles and Anita McKee of Wetmore will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 22.
Anita Jones and Charles McKee were united in marriage on May 22, 1971, at Pleasant Home Church in Edson. They operated a dairy farm in Jackson County until their retirement in December 2017.
The couple has two children, Marta McClung and her husband, Nathan, of Independence, Mo., and Tessa Chipman and her husband, Brian, of Olathe.
They have four grandchildren, Caleb Chipman, Hannah Kemp and her husband, Casey, and Molly and Miles McClung. They have also been blessed with a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Kemp.
