McDaniels to celebrate 50th anniversary

The family of Don and Sheryl McDaniel is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary.
Sheryl Groening and Don McDaniel were united in marriage on May 29, 1971, at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Don retired as the Holton USD 336 school band director in 2011. Sheryl retired from 43 years in day care in 2019.
The couple has two children, Cameron McDaniel and his wife, Amy, and Crystal Coleman and her husband, Matt, all of Valley Center. They are also blessed with five grandchildren, Lejer, Holden and Riggs McDaniel and Tylee and Broxton Coleman.
A family cruise to Hawaii is being planned for July 2022.
