McClain-Buser

John and Nancy McClain of Horton are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shelly Lynn, to Timothy Ray Buser, son of Doris Torkelson of Holton and the late Robert Buser.

The bride-to-be currently lives outside of Horton and is employed at the Union State Bank in Everest. The future groom currently lives in Topeka and is employed as the VMF manager for the U.S. Postal Service in Topeka. Both are graduates of Horton High School.

After they wed, the couple plans to make their home in rural Horton, along with Meeko the dog and Scooter the cat.

They will exchange wedding vows at the First Baptist Church in Horton at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. A reception, dinner and dance will follow at the Horton Community Center Blue Building.
