Gooderls to celebrate anniversary

Roger and Mary Gooderl of Hoyt will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 16. A small family reception was held for the couple in September.
Roger Gooderl and Mary Woodruff were high school sweethearts and married on Oct. 16, 1965, in Hoyt.
The couple has three children, Penny Barger and her husband, Paul, Scott Gooderl and his wife, Deb, and Amy Klotz and her husband, Jason; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Roger is a farmer and Mary is a retired real estate agent. They both love spending time with their family and supporting their grandchildren over the years at all of their sporting events. They also love to travel.
