Banakas to celebrate golden anniversary

The family of Steve and Marilyn Banaka is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary.
Marilyn Kay Baker and Stephen Arthur Banaka were united in marriage on April 24, 1971, at the Whiting United Methodist Church by the Rev. Terry Murray.
The couple has three children, David (Rebecca) of Overland Park, Mary Macy and Jon, both of Netawaka. They have three grandchildren, Matthew and Jonathan Macy and Jordyn Banaka, one step-granddaughter, Erika Baskin, and two adopted grandsons, Jermey and Jakob Banaka.
