Askren - Spann

Donald Jr. and Tamera Askren of Holton, along with Bobbie Askren of Wichita, are delighted to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebekah Askren, to William Spann, son of Daniel Spann of North Syracuse, N.Y. and Susan McKnight of Lawrenceville, N.J.

Rebekah, formerly of Circleville and Wichita, is a graduate of Rose Hill High School and Emily Griffith Technical College. The bride-to-be works as a pattern maker and fashion designer and is based out of Denver, Colo.

William, formerly of Princeton, N.J. and Breckenridge, Colo., graduated from Colorado Mountain College and the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in chemistry and mathematics. He works as a consulting software engineer in Denver.

William and Rebekah will wed at 3 p.m. Sept. 25, 2015 at the Planet Bluegrass Farm in Lyons, Colo.
