Achesons to celebrate golden anniversary

Ruth (Falk) and Raymond Acheson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 30, 2023. They were married at St. Ann’s Church in Effingham on July 28, 1973.
Their children are Julie Acheson (Mike Lee), John and Erika Acheson, Jeannie and Shawn Hedrick and Jackie and DeWayne Bowen. They have 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Their family will host a reception in their honor from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, at the Senior Citizens Center, 411 Main St., in Effingham.
