Tom Drechsler 1957-2024

Thomas Milton “Tom” Drechsler, 66, of Topeka, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at his home.

Tom was born Nov. 24, 1957, in Portsmouth, Va., the son of Milton Henry and Doris Lucille Bennett Drechsler. He graduated from Holton High School in 1976 and attended vocational technical school in Topeka. He graduated with a degree in industrial graphic design/printing.

Tom worked for Mainline Printing Company in Topeka where he worked as a pressman for more than 47 years. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his buddies.

He was married to Vicki Jean Ohlsen on May 20, 1989, in Horton. Vicki survives of the home.

Tom is also survived by his daughter, Heidi McCoy (Morgan) of Kansas City, Mo.; his son, Benjamin Drechsler (Amber) of Greensboro, N.C.; his sister, Emily Metzger (Alan) of Wichita; his three grandchildren, Maeve, Finnegan and Ozlie; and his niece and nephew, Taylor and Trevor.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
