Theresa Clark 1959-2024

Theresa Lynn Clark, 65, Holton, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, in Clifton.

She was born Jan. 23, 1959m in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Reuben and Mary McCullough Clark.

Ms. Clark served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve from 1976 to 1977. She moved to Mora, Minn., in 1991 and worked for a nursing home, a home health and hospice, and for Kanabec Hospital until 2003. She then moved back to Kansas and worked as a patient care tech at Stormont-Vail Health Care in Topeka from 2005 to 2010.

She married Calvin Nott. They later divorced.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Clark and spouse Matt Golbek, Clyde; daughter, Melissa Jarboe and husband Jayson, Topeka; a brother, David Clark, Valley Falls; five sisters, Cheryl Anderson, Lori Bellew and husband Craig and Jeanne Baldwin, all of Holton, and Lesa Shelman and husband Ray and Cathy Tomlinson and husband Jim, all of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Celesteal Clark, Alexa Wallace, Cosmo (Tyden) Jarboe and Hunter Jarboe; her aunt and uncle, Esther and John Klay, Inverness, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben Clark and Mary Mora; a brother, Michael J. Clark; and her stepfather, Chris Mora.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Ms. Clark will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
