Shawn Leach 1969-2026

Shawn Paul Leach, 56, Topeka, formerly of Holton, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.

He was born Aug. 10, 1969, to Hershell and Hazel “Marie” Antill Leach.

Mr. Leach attended Holton schools.

Survivors include a sister, Gail Taliaferro, Holton; three brothers, Francis Mick and wife Kathy, Derby, Keith Mick and wife Kathy, Horton, and Rowdy Mick and wife Marsha, Fairview; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Marie Leach; an infant sister, Ruth Elizabeth Mick; and a brother, Dennis Mick.

Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13 at the Circleville Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family.
