Ruth McDougal 1940-2024
Ruth “Nadine” McDougal, 84, Onaga, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at her home with family by her side.
She was born Feb. 20, 1940, at home in rural Havensville, Jackson County, the daughter of Clifford William Chance and Ida Nancy Arganbright Chance. She graduated from Springdale Grade School and Havensville High School.
She married Gale Lee McDougal on April 18, 1964. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Joyce Hart and husband Mike; a granddaughter, Kimber L. Bradley and husband Cory; three stepgrandaughters, Shara, Jayden and Kate; two sisters, Dorothy Kluender and husband Jim and Mary Ringel and husband Lloyd; two brothers-in-law, Lyle McDougal and Richard Ribelin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Janet E. McDougal; and two sisters, Virginia McDougal and Judy K. Ribelin.
Mrs. McDougal’s wishes were to be cremated and memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 8 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga.
