Raymond Dibbern 1945-2021

Raymond L. Dibbern, 75, Circleville, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, at Holton Community Hospital.

He was born July 18, 1945, at Atchison, the son of Loren and Cora Hundley Dibbern. He graduated from Soldier High School in 1963.

Mr. Dibbern was a welder for Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka for 38 years.

He was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church, the Circleville Saddle Club and Circleville Masonic Lodge No. 20 AF&AM.

He married Stella Marie Blackwell on Nov. 4, 1974, in Miami, Okla. She died Sept. 27, 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty Brownell.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Sandy Blackwell, North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a stepson, Randy Blackwell, Netawaka; two brothers, Kenny Dibbern and wife Joan, Holton, and Paul Dibbern and wife Sheri, Netawaka; two sisters, Carol Buehler and husband Jay, Holton, and Linda Walder and husband Carl, Delia; six grandchildren, Rachel Gross and husband Chris, Jamie Moser, Dana Murray and husband J.D., Jason Langberg and wife Rachel, Bobbi Hunter and husband Alex and Sean Langberg; and 11 great-grandchildren, Baylee Pitts, Meagan Pitts, Macey Gross, Allie Blume, Jenna Pitts, Tiah Gross, Sadey Gross, Thayne Gross, Karlie Murray, Kylie Murray and Everett Langberg.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 5 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday. Please wear a mask at the services. Burial will be held later in Olive Hill Cemetery.
