Randy Nott 1960-2025

Randall “Randy” Spencer Nott, 65, Wetmore, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at his home.

He was born April 22, 1960, in Seneca, the son of Clements Claudean Sr. and Mary Francis Chrisman Nott. He graduated from Wetmore High School in 1978.

Mr. Nott worked for Rockwell International for several years, then worked for Luckeroth Masonry in Seneca. He was later hired at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery in Topeka, where he helped maintain the cemetery. He later worked at Fairview Farms before retiring for health reasons.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Wetmore Men’s Club and the Goff Old Men’s Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mary Nott; and a sister, Edwina Collins.

Survivors include a brother, Dean Nott; three sisters, Claudia Murphy, Pam Heckerson and husband Roger and Paula Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of life and “last ride” will take place in spring 2026. Mercer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
