Ramona Branam 1952-2026
Ramona Gail Branam, 73, of Williamsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, in Overland Park.
She was born April 5, 1952, in Holton, the daughter of Raymond Spiker and Marjorie (Baldwin) Spiker. Ramona went to Holton High School and graduated with the class of 1970.
On Sept. 1, 1969, Ramona was united in marriage to James Branam. The couple would share more than 55 years of loving marriage together.
Ramona worked as a food service professional at the Ottawa University Starbucks.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, spending time with her family and experimenting in the kitchen.
Ramona had an unconditional love for her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Spiker and Marjorie (Baldwin) Spiker; and a daughter, Lori Branam.
She is survived by her husband, James Branam of Williamsburg; a son, Robert Branam of Ottawa; two daughters, Misty Chapman of Ottawa and Michelle Branam of Ottawa; a brother, John Spiker of Topeka; seven grandchildren, Gage, Payton, Isaac, Logan, Jace, Jaxson and Bailea; and two great-grandchildren, Gabrian and Maklin.
Ramona was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Ramona will be deeply missed and remain in the hearts and thoughts of the family and many friends forever.
A service of remembrance was held Saturday, Feb. 21 at Williamsburg Little Rock Church in Williamsburg.
