Phyllis Campbell 1932-2021

Phyllis N. Campbell, 88, Holton, died Saturday, May 1, 2021 at The Pines of Holton.

She was born Nov. 7, 1932, in Horton, the daughter of Marvin and Edna Keiswetter Hall. She graduated from Powhattan High School in 1950.

Mrs. Campbell worked for many years at Wilde Tool Factory in Hiawatha as a tool maker and sold Avon.

She married Keith Whitson Campbell on Nov. 21, 1950, in Horton. He preceded her in death in 2006 after 56 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Edna Hall; two sisters, Marlene Bowser and Dolores Britt; and a grandchild, Alex.

Survivors include three daughters, Cathy Haug and husband Steve, Holton, Marcella Godfrey and husband Dean, Emporia, and Virginia Postma and husband Bill, Muscotah; a son, Steve Campbell and wife Linda, Circleville; 16 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 5 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Horton Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
