Paul Millenbruch 1933-2017

 

Paul Leon Millenbruch, 83, Hoyt, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at his home.

He was born Dec. 29, 1933, in rural Mayetta, the son of George Edwin and Dorothy Edith Starkey Millenbruch. He attended Carbon and Miller country schools. He had lived in Mayetta since 1971 and had moved to Hoyt in 2013.

Mr. Millenbruch was a carpenter for more than 35 years, working for Local 1445.

He had been a member of First Christian Church in Holton since 1950 and a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 1445.

He married Karen Wolfe on Dec. 29, 1967, in Hiawatha. She sur­vives.

Other survivors include a sister, Carolyn Rice, Murphy, N.C.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was pre­ceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ira “Corky” Millen­bruch and Louis Millenbruch, who died Jan. 15, 2017.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrange­ments.
