Paul Marsh 1973-2026

Paul Richard Marsh, 52, Holton, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026 at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.

He was born Dec. 1, 1973 in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Richard and Lynn Ann Benway Marsh. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1991 in California and in 1998, he graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center.

Mr. Marsh worked for 21 years at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy and later as a corrections officer.

Survivors include his mother, Lynn A. Marsh, Holton; a daughter, Jessa N. Marsh, Newton; and a son, Jaden R. Marsh, Topeka. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Marsh; and a sister, Ronda Lynn Marsh.

No services are planned at this time. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family.
