Patty Ferguson 1944-2014
On Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, Patty Ellen Ferguson (Butterfield) passed away following a short illness at Midland Care Hospice in Topeka, surrounded by her family.
Patty was born in Topeka, Kansas on Nov. 1, 1944. She spent most of her life in Kansas and another period of her life was spent in New Albany, Miss., before returning to Kansas, where she spent the remainder of her days.
Patty had many interests during her life which ranged from Genealogy, airplane pilot training, playing banjo, camping, fishing and a great love of animals.
She was preceded in life by her mother, Lena Butterfield; her father, Max Butterfield; and her sister, Peggy Butterfield, all of Topeka. She was survived by a sister, Mary King of Topeka, and brothers, Max W Butterfield of Kemp, Texas, Ed Butterfield of Overbrook and Richard Butterfield of Topeka. She was also survived by her daughter, Rebecca Frederick of Holton, and her son, Robert Ferguson of New Albany, Miss. She was also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
