Patricia Linder 1941-2017
Patricia Ann Linder, 76, Topeka, died Friday, July 21, 2017, at Rossville Health and Rehab.
She was born June 1, 1941, in Holton, the daughter of Kenneth Dean and Audrey Eileen Baldwin Scheidegger. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1960.
She was a member of Oakland Presbyterian Church. She was a secretary at Eastminster Presbyterian Church for six years.
She married Richard L Linder Sr. on March 26, 1961, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include two children, Ronald “Ron” Linder and wife Kendra and Linda Linder Wright, all of Topeka; five siblings, Deanna Fiegener, Topeka, Joyce Kirkner, King, N.C., Nancy Bass and husband Marvin, Diamond, Mo., Pam Finch and husband George, Pomona, and Bill Scheidegger and wife Linda Sue, Topeka; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Richard L. “Rick” Linder Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Ave., Topeka. Interment will be held in Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 4700 S.W. 17th St., Topeka. Mrs. Linder will lie in state after 3 p.m. today at the funeral chapel, where family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
