Pat McMurphy 1963-2015
Patricia Sue McMurphy of Holton ended her fight against cancer on Aug. 12, 2015.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1963, in Onaga. She graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 1982.
She did daycare and worked at a casino for several years. She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, gardening, and baking.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Loren and Cora Lee Dibbern.
Survivors include daughters, Ashley Brownell, Jennifer Brownell (Gary) and Cassandra Lierz (Lane); grandchildren, Maverick, Phoenix, Rylie, Carson, Katelyn, Conner and Wyatt; siblings: Ray, Kenny, Carol, Linda and Paul; and nephews and nieces.
She will be laid to rest on Friday, Aug. 21 at Olive Hill Cemetery (10 miles west of Holton). Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at Circleville Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Farmers State Bank in Fairview (412 West Commercial St., Fairview, KS 66425) under the Patricia McMurphy fund to help with final expenses.
