Natalie Sable 1938-2026

Natalie Rae Sable, 87, of Holton, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at The Pines South near Holton.

She was born March 13, 1938, in Wolfeboro, N.H., the daughter of Nathaniel and Janice Fitch Warburton.

Mrs. Sable worked for the Red Cross in her early years, part of the time in Korea. Later she was a teacher and was Holton Middle School librarian for several years.

She was a member of Holton Evangel Church.

She married Mark Joseph Sable on July 4, 1977, in Raymond, N.H. He died Jan. 6, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a stepson, David Jospeh Sable; a brother, David Warburton; and two sisters, Mary Ward and Ellen Levesque.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Lea Stauffer and husband Adam, Topeka; a stepdaughter, Janet Darlene Rhea and husband Greg, Malvern, Ark.; a stepson, Paul Michael Sable and wife Patti, Lincoln, Calif.; three grandchildren, David Wilmoth, Dante Nitzschke and Natalia Mae Stauffer; and a great-granddaughter, Nadia.

Memorial services for Natalie will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at Holton Evangel Church.
