Nancy Griffin 1939-2017
Nancy Jo Griffin, 78, Topeka, died Monday, May 8, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
She was born March 29, 1939, at Wheaton, the daughter of Arthur and Verna Graf Toothaker. She graduated from Wheaton High School.
Mrs. Griffin retired from Santa Fe after 34 years of service.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Women of the Moose.
She married Ronald C. Enneking in 1957. They divorced. She married Galen Eugene Griffin on May 19, 1984, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include five children, Teresa Lynn Tilford and husband Kenneth, Edwardsville, GiGi Miller and husband John, Topeka, Timothy Enneking and wife Cheryl, Mayetta, Troy Enneking, Lawrence, and Sandra Jones and husband Dennis, Topeka; three sisters, Betty Olive and husbabnd Ken, Camdenton, Mo., Ireta Schwant and husband Dennis, Blaine, and Jean Brazell and husband John, Beatrice, Neb.; and five grandchildren: Travis Tilford, Kansas City, Mo., Joshua Miller, Topeka, Jeremiah Miller, Mayetta, and Alexy Enneking and Summer Enneking, both of Lawrence. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Ann Enneking; and a sister, Ruth Keating.
Funeral services were held Friday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Ave., Topeka. Interment was held in Topeka Cemetery.
