Mary Lou Rutti 1935-2017
Mary Lou Rutti, 82, formerly of Marysville, died Monday, June 26, 2017, at Medicalodges Jackson County in Holton.
She was born June 7, 1935, at Humboldt, Neb., the daughter of Orval and Thelma Spalding Cudney. She graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1952.
Mrs. Rutti had worked at Downards Grocery Store and at Tension Envelope in Marysville.
She was a member of the Marysville Garden Club, Order of Eastern Star, Pony Express Riders and the Auxiliary to the American Legion and the Moose Lodge, all at Marysville.
She married Don Eckart. They divorced. She married Milan Rutti in 1978. He died in October 2008.
Survivors include a son, Donald Max Eckart II, Topeka; two daughters, Cora Sue Kramer and husband Bob, Holton, and Jody Ellen King and husband Stephen, Riverside, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Holton Cemetery. Mrs. Rutti will lie in state Thursday at the funeral home, where family and friends will meet from 10 a.m. until service time Friday.
