Marjorie Rickel 1930-2022

Marjorie June Rickel, 91, Mayetta, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Holton Community Hospital.

She was born March 6, 1930, at Hoyt, the daughter of Marvin and Gladys Martin Tuck. She was a graduate of Hoyt High School.

Mrs. Rickel was a homemaker and a farm wife.

She married Charles B. Rickel on Dec. 12, 1949, at First Baptist Church in Hoyt. He survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Deb Rickel, Mayetta, Donnie Taylor, Hoyt, and Cindie Bailey, Delia; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 in Hoyt Cemetery. Mrs. Rickel will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt.
