Luanne Colhouer 1958-2025

Luanne Colhouer, 66, of Holton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, at her home with family by her side.

She was born Nov. 26, 1958, in Lawrence, the daughter of Dick and Linda Lou (Howard) Currie.

Luanne graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1976 and attended Washburn University.

She was a supervisor for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, retiring after 35 years.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Richard “Rick” Haas, of the home; three sisters, LaDene Currie Kirk (Rodney) of Ozawkie, Kellie Graves (John) of Sapulpa, Okla., and Angie Grimmett (Kurt) of Meriden; three brothers, Daryl Goodnow (Laura) of Meriden, Gregory “Greg” Currie (Linda) of Topeka and Randall “Randy” Currie (Staci Mitchell) of Carbondale; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
