Louise Kneisel 1930-2016
Louise L. Kneisel, 86, formerly of Wetmore, with her family by her side, went to be with her Lord, Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Oakley Place in Topeka.
Louise was born and raised in Kismet and later served as Postmaster there for 18 years prior to serving as Postmaster at Wetmore before retiring.
She married Harold Kneisel in 1979. They made Wetmore home and enjoyed their life together for 32 years, before his death in 2012.
Survivors include three daughters: Theresa Schroeder of Midwest City, Okla., Carolyn (Mike) Chase of Plains and Joan (Rick) Mongold of Topeka; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren plus one on the way!
A Celebration of Louise’s life is planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be held Saturday in Plains.
