Lori Keller 1960-2025

Lori Ann Keller, 65, Burlingame, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at her home.

She was born Feb. 18, 1960, in Holton, the daughter of Joseph Lee and Yolanda Lou Symons Keller. She graduated from Holton High School in 1978.

Ms. Keller worked for the State of Kansas, Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Azura Bank, all in Topeka. She also worked for Ron’s IGA, Dairy Queen and Lovvorn’s Body Shop, all in Holton.

She was a former member of Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton.

She married Alvin Ray Baker. They later divorced; he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Yolanda Keller; and a sister, Victoria “Vickie” Chilson.

Survivors include two sons, John Baker and wife Jessica, Holton, and Daniel Baker, Burlingame; two sisters, Kathy Jo Smith, Gilford, N.H., and Sherrie Bain and husband Bryson, Holton; and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family.
