Lewis Wiser Jr. 1953-2017
Lewis “Lewie” Wiser Jr., 64, Wetmore, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at his home.
He was born Aug. 15, 1953, in Kansas City, the son of Lewis Wiser Sr. and Hallie Darlene Stauch Wiser. He graduated from Piper High School. He lived for 35 years in Wetmore and previously in Piper and Kansas City.
Mr. Wiser worked as a livestock associate for Holton Sale Barn, retiring after more than 20 years.
Survivors include three children, Jossi Wiser, Joann Bright and Jennifer Kupke; and two brothers, Rickie Wiser and wife Kristi, Leavenworth, and Denis Wiser, Carbondale. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Steven Wiser.
Mr. Wiser was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family.
