Leif Holliday 1965-2015
Leif Oliver Holliday, 49, rural Holton, died Thursday, March 5, 2015.
He was born Oct. 3, 1965, in Independence, the son of Ralph and Sally Price Holliday. He graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville and earned his master's degree in engineering from Kansas State University.
Mr. Holliday worked as an engineer for the Kansas Department of Water Resources and the Kansas Department of Transportation.
He was a member of Denison Bible Church, Topeka West Rotary Club and the American Society of Civil Engineers, and he had been a 4-H community leader.
He married Sharron L. McNicholas Bohnenkemper on Dec. 28, 2010. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Jacob Holliday and Ethan Holliday; two daughters, Alexandra Holliday and Sophia Holliday; two stepsons, Jarred Bohnenkemper and Joel Bohnenkemper; a stepdaughter, Sidney Bohnenkemper; his mother, Sally Holliday, Liberty; and a sister, Sherri Holliday-Sklar and husband Bruce, Vienna, Va. He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Denison Bible Church. Burial will follow in Denison Cemetery.
