Lawrencia Belair 2019-2023

Lawrencia Lorene Belair, 4, Topeka, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at her home.

She was born June 21, 2019, in Topeka, the daughter of Mariann Lorene Belair.

She was a member of the Chickasaw Tribe in Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Maria Quintana; her great-great-grandfather, Lawrance Raymond Belair; and great-great-great grandparents, Robert and Lorene Alexander Jackson.

Survivors include her mother, Mariann Lorene Belair; a brother, Jaxon Essman, and a sister, Lucille Essman, both of the home; grandfather, Mauricio Hernandez; grandmother, Michelle Lorene Belair; great-grandmother, Stephanie Lorene Belair; great-grandfather, Duane Marsh; great-great-grandparents, Rusty and Evelyn Seymour and Betty Giddings; and several aunts and uncles, including Amaya Williams.

Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 19 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Supper and wake were held Friday evening at the Dance Ground. Burial was held Saturday morning in the Matwe-Shobney Cemetery.
