Laura Mae Phelps-Davison, 71, Lexington, Mo., died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Vitas In-Patient Hospice in Kansas City.
She was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Whittier, Calif., the daughter of Raymond and Annie Gross Wallace.
Mrs. Davison had taught ceramics at Pioneer Village in Topeka.
She married Glenn Davison on May 15, 2004, in Lexington, Mo. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Larry Jaques and wife Mel Applebee, and Dennis Phelps, all of Topeka; and two grandchildren, Kenny and Becca Applebee. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ray Allen Wallace.
Cremation is planned. No services are scheduled at this time. Chapel Oaks Funeral Home of Hoyt is assisting the family.
