Larry Robert Plants, 50, Gainesville, Ga., died March 16, 2015, in Gainesville.
He was born Sept. 29, 1964, in Shawnee Mission, the son of Robert Dale and Mildred Stolle Plants. He grew up in Texas and North Carolina, spending his adult life in Gainesville, Ga.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Mildred Plants, formerly of Hoyt, a sister, Linda K. Plants, and a nephew, Peter J. Plants, all of Gainesville, Ga.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30 in Hoyt Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt, followed by a dessert reception at the Hoyt Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
