Kim Ross 1950-2025

Kim Leon Ross, 74, of Olathe, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Kim was born on Aug. 16, 1950, in Horton to Donald and Elsie Ross.

Kim’s legacy of kindness, laughter and love for life will continue to resonate with all who knew him. He is survived by his sister Kandace; children, Stephanie (Stephen) Sullinger, Mike (Lauren) Ross, Alissa (Craig) Emme and Jeff Ross; grandchildren, Annika (JT), Gavin, McKenna, Dash, Quinn, Ryder and Eleanor; great-granddaughter, Finley; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elsie; his sister Kathryn; and his beloved wife, Patty.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3 with visitation starting at 9 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Topeka. Burial will be held at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Everest, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church-Upward Basketball.
