Kathy Kranz 1961-2025

Kathrine M. “Kathy” Kranz, 64, of Holton, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She was born May 14, 1961, in San Francisco, Calif., the daughter of Roy and Beverly Robison Kranz. She attended school at Holton and Jackson Heights and graduated from Jackson Heights High School. Kathy attended the Circleville Christian Church. She had lived in the Kansas Place in Holton for many years.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Roy; and a nephew, Joshua Kranz.

Survivors include her mother, Beverly Kranz, Holton; a sister, Deborah Kennedy, Topeka; a brother, Charles Kranz (Doreen), Topeka; her long-time friend and caretaker, Loretta Torres; her nieces and nephews, Shawna Blackwood (Brock), Brandon DeVader (Jessica), Brooke Johnson and Chuck Kranz (Ashley); and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Private graveside memorial services and inurnment will be held in Circleville Cemetery.
