Janice Louise Wykert Bontrager, 81, Charlotte, N.C., died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017.
She was born Oct. 4, 1935, in Hoyt, the daughter of Harold and Letta Carlin Wykert.
She married Kenneth Bontrager. He survives.
Other survivors include four children, Mark and wife Cathy, Arlington, Va., Kim and husband Mike, Charlotte, N.C., Cathey and husband Harwell, Pinehurst, N.C., and Kristy and husband Steve, Leawood; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 26 in Hoyt Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Hoyt Community Center immediately following the service.
Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt is in charge of local arrangements.
