Janice Bontrager 1935-2017
Janice Louise Wykert Bontrager, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, in Charlotte, N.C.
Janice was born in Hoyt on Oct. 4, 1935.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 62 years, Kenneth Eugene; her four children, Mark (Cathy), Arlington, Va., Kim (Mike O'Neill), Charlotte, N.C., Cathey (Harwell Palmer), Pinehurst, N.C., and Kristy (Steve Moore), Leawood; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Letta Carlin Wykert.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, N.C. The family will receive friends following the service.
