Jan Smith 1943-2020

Our precious mother, sister and wife, Mary Janice “Jan” Smith, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, and is missed dearly. No services are planned at this time.

She was born to the late Charles Johnnie Brown and Percy Onita “Skeet” Blanton on Feb. 3, 1943, in Abilene, Texas. She married Joe Lee Smith on June 21, 1961, and remained happily married until her passing.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, of Big Spring, Texas; one sister, Sherry Ann Durst, of Soldier; and sons Kerry of Albuquerque, N.M., and Brian of McKinney, Texas.
