Jack Danner 2000-2023

Jackson E. “Jack” Danner, 23, of Holton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023.

He was born Jan. 28, 2000, in Topeka, the son of Brett E. and Carole L. (Cochren) Danner. 

Jack graduated from Holton High School in 2018 and attended Washburn Tech, earning his electrical degree. Jack worked for Midwest Coating and loved working alongside his uncle, cousins and best friend, John Ehrhart.

In his spare time, Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a very kind and good-natured soul and had a heart of gold. Jack was loyal to his family and friends alike. 

Survivors include his parents, Brett and Carole Danner of Topeka; sister, Logan Fornelli of Valley Falls; grandparents, Mike and Sharon Cochren and Sharon S. Cochren, all of Circleville, and Estell Danner of Holton; aunt/godmother, Jean Danner McCauley (Travis) of Holton; aunts, Valerie Cochren Olberding (Kevin) and Michelle Cochren Callison (Matt), both of Circleville; 11 cousins; and two beloved dogs, Boosie and Glacier. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vic E. Danner; and his aunt, Debby Danner Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
