Harold Moss II 1953-2026

Harold Bruce Moss II, 72, Mayetta, died Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

He was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisc., the son of Harold Bruce Moss Sr. and Caroline Redzinski Moss. He graduated from Burlington High School in Burlington, Wisc.

Mr. Moss was an over-the-road truck driver for more than 35 years, owning and operating his own truck for a few years, and he had worked for several companies.

He married Sylvia K. “Chaz” Whitefish on June 13, 1981 in Wabeno, Wisc. She survives.

Other survivors include his children, Harold Bruce Moss III, Mayetta, Adam J. Moss, Neenah, Wisc., and Danielle K. Moss, Mayetta; three brothers, Robert C. Moss and wife Debra, in Georgia, Thomas Moss, in Maine, and Lawrence Moss, in Wisconsin; and three grandchildren, Callie Moss, Harold B. Moss IV and Daylen Potts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David “Harpo” Moss; and a granddaughter, Caroline Isabelle Shepard-Moss.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Wabeno, Wisc.
