Guy Neiswender 1947-2025
Guy Wilbert Neiswender, 77, of Circleville, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Guy was born on June 30, 1947, in Topeka, to parents Wilbert (Wib) Neiswender and Ruth Ann (Rogers) Neiswender.
He married Virginia Close in 1962. They divorced in 1972. He married Pamela Elmer (Nash) in 1974. They divorced in 1983. Two children, Amanda and Jaime, and a stepson, Mark Elmer, came from this union.
He married Shirley Bolyard in 1984. They celebrated more than 41 years of marriage. To this union came two stepchildren, Jeffrey Bolyard and Sherry Harrell.
Guy attended Seaman High School and received his GED. Guy was a truck driver most of his life with jobs at Jarvis Construction in Salina, where he ran the logistics department. He moved to Casa Grande, Ariz., in 1986 and drove for Frito-Lay for eight years. He moved to Circleville in 1993 and drove for American Wholesale until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Ruth Neiswender; stepfather, Carl Woodard; a half-brother, Floyd Bartrum; and two half-sisters, Virginia Bartrum and Ava Zane.
Guy is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Neiswender; two daughters, Jaime Lynn Anthony (Kyle) and Amanda Neiswender; two stepsons, Mark Elmer and Jeffrey Bolyard; a stepdaughter, Sherry Harrell; grandchildren Chelsey Vanderwerf, Zachary Harrell, Ella and Mazzy Anthony, Kade Ingram, Joseph Sharp and Chase and Chance Elmer; and great-grandchild Brayden Vanderwerf.
Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Circleville Cemetery.
