George Cammarn 1951-2024
George E. Cammarn, 73, Mayetta, formerly of Pratt, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at his home.
He was born March 9, 1951, the son of Alvin and Edith Dixon Cammarn.
Mr. Cammarn had worked in oil fields, mostly for Pratt Well Service, and also drove trucks for R.C. Williams.
He was married to Theresa Mitchell Roberts for 30 years. She preceded him in death on Dec. 27, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Charles Roberts; five brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Tonda Wolfe, Tulsa, Okla., and Misty Fuentes and husband David, Mayetta; a son-in-law, Robert Long, Azle, Texas; two brothers, Danny Cammarn, Auburn, Neb., and Richie Cammarn, Pratt; seven grandchildren, April Bumgarner, Brett Long, Clariece Long, Anthony Mullins and wife Kayla, Courtney Culver, Trevor Roberts and Maddison Roberts; and four great-grandchildren, Anastasia Bumgarner, Jonathan Quijano, Elizabeth Maria Jane Quijano and Nevaeh Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Mr. Cammarn will lie in state after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
