Gary Moulden 1954-2026

Gary Joe Moulden, 71, of Holton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at his home.

He was born May 2, 1954, in Atchison, the son of Gary Lee and Juanita (Calloway) Moulden.

Gary graduated from Effingham High School in 1972.

He was a machinist by trade, most recently working for Williams Company in Whiting.

Survivors include his father, Gary Lee Moulden of Holton; four sons, Graham Moulden (Nadina) of Topeka, Grant Moulden (Rebecca) of Holton, Garth Moulden (Valerie) of Muscotah and Gary Lee Moulden (Lora) of Clinton, Mo.; a daughter, Ginny Moulden of Leavenworth; two sisters, Gayla Self (Tim) of Muscotah and Glenda Latzke of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, Garet, Alston, Cody, Gabby, Colton, Casey, Malikia, Eli, Gabe, Rory, Sofia, Gunner, Maya, Braiden, Garrison and McKenna; and six great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Moulden.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home is assisting the family.
