Gary Miller 1949-2026
Gary Gene Miller, formerly of Delia, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, in Blue Rapids.
He was born June 1, 1949, the son of Donald W. Miller and Ivaleu (Eakin) Miller of Delia. He attended High Prairie Grade School, Delia High School and Rossville High School.
Mr. Miller lived and worked at Twin Valley Developmental Center in Beattie. He later moved to Blue Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Blue Rapids.
He was a member of Delia Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Troy Cooksey; and a great-niece, Marlie Eisenbarth.
Survivors include his siblings, Beverly Tucker and husband Bill, Kansas City, Victor Miller, Topeka, Nancy Boten and husband Larry, Kansas City, Mo., Sandra Eisenbarth and husband Stephen, Silver Lake, Rodney Miller and wife Lisa, Holton, and Elizabeth Victor, Lawrence; 17 nieces and nephews; and 33 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Delia Cemetery, 118th Road in Delia.
