Donna Griffin 1955-2024

Donna Marie Griffin, 69, Topeka, died Monday, March 18, 2024, at her home after a brief illness.

She was born March 11, 1955, in Holton, the daughter of Harold R. and Betty Marie Lacey Kolbek. She graduated from Holton High School.

Ms. Griffin worked as a clerk for Blue Cross and Blue Shield and as a kitchen manager for Rose Villa Place.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Kolbek.

Survivors include two brothers, Terry L. Kolbek and wife Debbie, Auburn, and Michael Kolbek and wife Roxann, Silver Lake; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Holton Cemetery. Ms. Griffin will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 25 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
