David Thompson 1961-2015
David Karl Thompson, 53, Lawrence, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 16, 1961, in Topeka, the son of Ed and Carol Biester Thompson. He graduated from Seaman High School.
Mr. Thompson had lived for six years at Community Living Opportunities in Lawrence. He formerly resided at Sheltered Living in Topeka and Arkansas Support Network in Springdale, Ark.
Survivors include his parents, Ed and Carol Thompson of Lawrence; 2 sisters, Linda and Joyce Thompson both of Lawrence and a nephew, Aaron Boos of Lawrence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Private family burial will be held in Buck’s Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will hold a celebration of his life from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kanwaka Hall, 776 U.S. Highway 40, Lawrence.
