Danny Burget, 78, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024.
He was born in June 15, 1946, the son of Orville and Florence Burget. He was raised in Soldier and graduated from high school there.
He married Loretta Correll in June 1965. They made their home in Topeka. He was a machinist at Santa Fe Railroad. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing.
He was preceded in death by several siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Burget; his sons, Tony and wife Rhonda of Hoyt and Mike and wife Becky of Weslaco, Texas; six grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; a sister, Kathy; and a sister-in-law, Sandy Burget.
Cremation is planned and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
