Clara May Pendleton, 90, Holton, died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at her home.
She was born Feb. 27, 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Berton Lyman and Iva Dorena Adams Meloy. She attended grade school and high school in Waterloo.
Mrs. Pendleton was a homemaker and housewife.
She married Melvin Ernest Pendleton on April 1, 1951, in Topeka. He died Dec. 29, 1979.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Morse, Divide, Colo., Cheryl Ness and husband Keith, Meriden, and Charlotte Brock and husband Stan, Olsburg; a son, Ed Pendleton, Holton; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Topeka.
