Cindy Bottle 1944-2025

Cindy Lynn Bottle, 81, of Canon City, Colo., formerly of Holton, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, in Colorado.

She was born March 8, 1944, in Fort Riley, the daughter of Walter and Ruth (Worth) Hirsch.

Cindy graduated from Golden High School in 1962 and she attended Colorado State University. She was a budget analyst for the Department of Interior for 34 years, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Holton. She was also involved with local politics, church, social and fraternal organizations.

Cindy had a love for Colorado and Holton communities. She raised Alpacas, horses and other livestock.

Cindy married Thomas F. “Rick” Bottle on May 15, 2005, in Canon City, Colo. They celebrated more than 20 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Rick, of the home; three stepchildren; a sister, Judy Peterson of Canon City, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 29 at the Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
